Who are the people behind STAS?     

John Burka assists with the STAS website and program.  He is a Professor of Pharmacology at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island . His research is on stress responses in Atlantic salmon and their response to sea lice. His hobby and passion is science awareness and he was the coordinator of the PEI Science Fair from 1987 to 2001.
